Tara Busch is the founder and CEO of Conscious Travel Collective, a Brooklyn-based boutique travel company creating custom, land-only itineraries built around genuine local partnerships and insider access. She has spent more than eight years designing experiences across Italy, Portugal, Spain, Peru, Colombia, and beyond, spending 3–5 months each year on the ground, scouting destinations and deepening relationships with local partners firsthand.

A speaker on community-based tourism at venues including NYU, and a volunteer with RISE Travel Institute, Tara brings both a practitioner’s perspective and the instinct of a deeply curious traveler to the conversation about travel as a tool for connecting to ourselves and the world, rooted in respectful engagement and genuine care for the people and places that make travel so meaningful.
