Ruchelle is an accomplished hospitality professional, educator, AHLEI Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) Master Trainer, and business leader with extensive experience in hospitality education, workforce development, and professional training across Southern Africa. She is passionate about empowering hospitality professionals and helping organizations achieve service excellence through innovative learning solutions and industry best practices.
As the Managing Director of Plated with Purpose Hospitality Skills Development, Ruchelle leads the development and delivery of customized training programs, consulting services, and leadership initiatives that support operational excellence and sustainable business growth. Her expertise includes guest experience, customer satisfaction, leadership development, human resources, talent development, and organizational performance. Ruchelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration and Management from the University of South Africa (UNISA) and has earned internationally recognized professional credentials from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI), including Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE), Certified Hospitality Instructor (CHI), Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP), and designation as a CHE Master Trainer, reflecting her expertise in developing and mentoring hospitality educators. She is also a certified Facilitator, Assessor, and Moderator in outcomes-based education through Auxano Training Institute, with extensive experience in adult learning, competency-based assessment, and quality assurance.
