Dr. Eyong Ayuk Ako-Ebot holds a PhD in Tourism Management from the University of South Africa, with earlier degrees from IGNOU India and the University of Buea, plus a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute. He is currently a Lecturer in Tourism Management at the University of Bertoua and also teaches part-time at the University of Yaoundé I and BHIPS.

He previously lectured at ICT University, where he also coordinated graduate programs. His expertise covers tourism development and policy, destination management, sustainable and community tourism, tourism marketing, ICTs in tourism, and the visitor economy.
