Mr. Matteo Bierschneider is a social entrepreneur who co-founded Wise Steps Group with the aspiration to create an integrated approach towards responsible tourism development in Indonesia.

Consisting of Wise Steps Foundation, Wise Steps Consulting, and Wise Steps Travel. After his studies in responsible tourism management, he worked in a local foundation in Bali as well as for a large DMC in Asia.

Currently he works among other things as a sustainable tourism consultant for governments, businesses and international organisations in Indonesia and Asia.
