Kelly Galaski

Kelly Galaski is Sustainable tourism professional and experienced program manager and director with 25 years of working across the hospitality and tourism for-profit and non-profit sectors.
As of April 2024 rejoined the Planeterra team as a senior director and head of impact to support the organization as it continues to grow and flourish in its community tourism, climate, and biodiversity global initiatives. Proud to have been part of the Travel Foundation team for 2.3 years working with primarily North America destinations, organizations and communities on their sustainable tourism, destination stewardship and climate action journeys. Based in the Okanagan region of BC (western Canada), previously worked with the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), a highly acclaimed destination management organization rooted in responsible travel values, on research, marketing and special projects in destination stewardship and impact measurement.
For over 12 years worked internationally with rural and Indigenous communities, developing opportunities in tourism by connecting communities and grassroots non-profits with market partners to develop successful product. At Planeterra, contributed to the development of close to 100 community tourism experiences in more than 20 countries.
Worked with G Adventures’ product, marketing and operations teams on the development and execution of responsible travel policies and supply chain assessment system to measure local impact and sustainability across the company’s global suppliers.
