Dr. Rusmiati, M.Si is presently the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of PT. Patih Indo Group. She started with a Professional University Degree in Travel and Tourism Management in 1988. In 2006 Dr. Rusmiati obtained her Bachelors in Communication from London School of Public Relations Jakarta majoring In Public Relations. Dr. Rusmiati furthered her study in 2008 and earned her Masters in Corporate Communications from London School of Public Relations Jakarta and subsequently completed her PhD in Communication in Sahid Jaya Professional Academic Jakarta in 2009.

Dr. Rusmiati plays a prominent role in the Indonesian Travel Industry. She is presently the President of ASITA (Association of Indonesian Tour & Travel Agents), Indonesia for two periode from 2019-2024 and 2024-2029. ASITA has 7,000 members throughout Indonesia and is involved in the development of its members and also taking care of their interest and needs. She has been involved in ASITA since 2007, previously as Honorary Treasurer and later as General Secretary (2010) prior to her current appointment as President.

Presently, her responsibility is to spearhead the vision & mission of ASITA which includes drawing a development strategy to ensure ASITA develops as an agile organization geared for the growth of its members to ensure sustainable value and staying true to their core values of integrity and customer centricity in the development of the Indonesian Tourism industry

Lending her skills and strengths earned during her tenor of office, Dr. Rusmiati is poised to focus in outlining a blueprint to bring Indonesian Tourism Industry players through ASITA and its members and also integration with other tourism players to greater heights by operating successfully using State-of-the-art technology in the medium-high end of the market in order to win the trust of exclusive and highly demanding customers, especially foreign tourists visiting Indonesia.
