Ali Akaak
Dr. Ali Akaak is an academic and professional in business and tourism management, with over 20 years of experience in academic and administrative roles across public and private universities.
He holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies (Tourism Management and Development) from the University of Exeter Business School, UK. Dr. Akaak is a faculty member at the College of Economics and Business Administration and serves as the Head of the Continuing Education and Community Service Department at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Salalah branch. His scholarly contributions include extensive research, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences, focusing on strategic planning, destination management, tourism development, sustainability, labor unions, and social entrepreneurship.
Dr. Akaak is actively engaged in several esteemed local and international organizations, including the Environment Society of Oman (ESO), the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Dhofar Branch), the World Tourism Association for Cultural and Heritage (WTACH), and the Green Destination Organization, reinforcing strong professional network and commitment to advancing the tourism and business sectors.
