Professor/Tourism & Hospitality Field Leader, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU).
Ph.D (Economics, Chuo University), M.Arch (Cornell University), First-class Architect, Visiting Lecturer, Meiji University Graduate School of Governance Studies.
After working overseas, he worked as a senior researcher at the Fukuoka Asian Urban Research Center, a policy think tank in Fukuoka City. He has been with APU since 2017 and has been engaging in research and education aimed at the sustainable development of the Oita region by enhancing tourism through industry-academia-government collaboration.
