Who is Jocelyna Dubuc?

Ms. Jocelyna Dubuc was a pioneer in her sector, bit its contribution has always been sustained and significant for the development of responsible and sustainable tourism. By investing body and soul in the creation of the Association des Relais Santé, Jocelyna enabled this organization to promote the niche of healthy vacations, while implementing rigorous standards to protect the quality of the product. As president, she has multiplied the chronicles as much on television, on the radio as in magazines and has given conferences in many forums, her goal being to inform the population of the importance of health and has thus contributed to the birth of health tourism in Quebec.

Jocelyna wants people to discover the art of living, by sharing her knowledge. In this perspective, Jocelyna believes in these small daily gestures that can contribute to improving health and well-being. This is what the Spa Eastman offers. She has set up an educational program in body care: workshops, events and courses to help people who stay to take charge of their lives. Jocelyna has created, with the help of experts, a healthy, gourmet cuisine, without compromising on pleasure. 

A gastronomy called La Cuisine Tonique. This cuisine has been recognized on many occasions, including most recently with the first place in the category the Best Emphasis on Wellness & Health in Culinary Travel category by World Food Travel Association.

In addition to sharing her knowledge at Spa Eastman, Jocelyna Dubuc and her team have written several books, including L’Univers d’un spa chez soi*, Spa Eastman à votre table (Gold Medal in Canada), Le livre qui fait du bien* and La Cuisine Tonique.

Jocelyna Dubuc’s recognitions

In 1997, Jocelyna Dubuc was named Woman Entrepreneur of the Year by the jury members of the Canadian Women’s Entrepreneurship Award in the “sustained success” category. In 1998, the Embassy of Canada honored her leadership role by awarding her a “Business Women’s Award”. In 2002, she received the Prix Femmes d’affaires du Québec, in the “Entrepreneur, medium or large business” category. This award, created by the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec, highlights and recognizes the excellence of women of action working in the Quebec business world.

In 2006, she was named Tourism Personality of the Year in the national final of the Grands Prix du tourisme québécois. That same year, she was inducted into the Canadian Tourism Hall of Fame as personality who has made a significant contribution to the development of the Canadian tourism industry. In 2007, she received the prestigious title of Grand Ambassador of the Gala 2007 du Mérite Estrien. In 2009, the Association des hôteliers du Québec awarded her the Order of Merit Hotelier of the Year 2008. From 2007 to 2011, she was president of the Eastern Townships tourist association. In 2012, she received the Woman of Distinction Award from the Women’s Y Foundation. In 2022, she was named Great Builder by the Alliance du Tourisme du Québec.
