Eduardo Basso is the President of the European Network of Places of Peace (ENPP) since 2010, an association that brings together places in Europe where Peace Treaties were signed and that currently includes members from 9 European countries, from Portugal to Turkey. Under his direction, ENPP has been increasing its visibility in Europe and in 2012 created the Places of Peace Route (http://placesofpeace.eu/destinations/), a route that focuses on sustainability to promote the European places where Peace Treaties were signed and which is currently a candidate route for Cultural Route of the Council of Europe.
