Dr. Fabio Carbone is Lecturer of International Tourism Management at Coventry University (UK), Ambassador of the International Institute for Peace through Tourism.

Archaeologist and Ph.D in Tourism, Fabio Carbone is an expert in the relations between cultural heritage management and tourism for the promotion of intercultural dialogue, global understanding and peace.

Currently, he is a Lecturer of International Tourism Management at Coventry University (UK) and Researcher at the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations, Coventry University (UK). He is Ambassador-at-Large of the International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT), IIPT’s Special Envoy for Iran, as well as member of the scientific council of the European Network of Places of Peace. Due to the broad spectrum of knowledge and essential skills necessary for his activity as a scholar and practitioner, he has also achieved over time other diplomas, in “Tourism Management at UNESCO World Heritage Sites” (Paris1 Sorbonne) as well as “International Relations & Cultural Diplomacy” (Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, Berlin); “Religion, Conflict and Peace” and “Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster” (EdX, Harvard University).
