In my years of marketing and communication for destinations around the world, I’ve always sought the extraordinary, innovation, and the creative minds driving the industry forward in the destinations I’ve worked with (and still do) in tmf dialogue. Yet, as the world evolves and new concepts emerge, one thing has become clear: sustainability is the common denominator we all must strive for in all that we plan, execute and innovate. It is a big change for all of us with a need to expand knowledge beyond tourism – for me that realization led to my focus on water.
With a deep understanding of the water sector and its complex challenges, my specialization is on sourcing innovation in this domain and connect it to the travel industry – with the goal to create exciting stories based on data and knowledge around water. FrauBlau represents the quest for solutions, the efforts to find new ways to address the extensive water issues affecting the hospitality sector. Our projects help among other to minimize leakage, save water and -costs and utilize this engagement for #ShareYouCare as a brand message.
But FrauBlau is more than just striving for technological improvement and brand communication in the Water/Travel nexus – it’s a call for cross-sector collaboration and support for local communities to benefit from responsible water policy and governance.
Water and SDG6/SDG14 are a strong anchor in this process.
