Ms. Shinobu Hayama has been passionate in facilitating sustainable development for over a decade, beginning with designing travel in regions affected by Japan’s 2011 earthquake, tsunami and nuclear incident to training for people from over 30 nations.

She founded Journey for Change to offer consulting and capacity-building around sustainable travel and transformation for a positive balance of society, environment, economy and wellbeing.

Works support people and places across public, private, social sectors and academia. Shinobu enjoys collaborating across cultures such as with Destination Mekong,

DMO for 6 Asian countries as Special Advisor, and is part of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) team of trainers.
