Dr Arvind Kumar Saraswati has earned his doctorate degree from Aligarh Muslim University, India, in Business Administration and currently serving as an Associate Professor of Hospitality at Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, a NAAC A+ institution affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi (INDIA).

He is the Academic Coordinator of undergraduate program in Hotel Management and Head of the Department for Food & Beverage Service Operations & Management. Also, the Research & Consultancy Coordinator of the institute, he is diligently committed to promote quality education & researches in the domain of tourism and hospitality in India & overseas.  He has keen interest in tourism and hospitality marketing particularly in the sphere of Hospitality Operations & Management, Tourism Administration & Management, Service Marketing, Relationship Marketing, and Online Marketing & Destination Promotion. He is the serving Editors of “Indian Journal of Applied Hospitality and Tourism Research”, which is an UGC Care Listed journal in the domain of Hospitality & Tourism. Alongside he holds the editorship of various Tourism Research Journals and actively involved in tourism and hospitality researches.

He has participated in more than sixty national and international conferences in various roles of Keynote Speaker, Chair Session, Panelist and Presenter in India & Abroad. He is also the present convener of India International Hotel, Travel & Tourism Research Conference, held annually since 2009. He has authored one text book of Hotel Front Office Operations, Accounting & Management, edited fourteen ISBN numbered books and published research papers in various journals of repute including Scopus and UGC Care indexed.

Being an adherent of tourism films as modality for tourism development and destination promotion, he has a long serving association with Art & Tur International Tourism Film Festival, Portugal, Zagreb Tour-film Festival, Croatia and International Tourism Film Festival, South Africa as Jury Member. He is also the screening committee member of Woodpecker International Film Festival and a life member of International Film and Television Club.

Dr. Arvind Kumar Saraswati is an Academician, Author & Researcher in the domain of Hospitality & Tourism Management with special focus on Service Marketing & Destination Promotion. He is a decorated professional with many national and international recognition of being Young Teacher Welcome Award (2016) and Young Researcher Award (2017), Global Education and Corporate Leadership Award (2018) for Best Young Researcher and Global Hospitality Award (2019). He was accorded with Best Ph.D. Thesis Award in (2019). He is also awarded with Dale Carnegie Teaching Excellence Award (2022), International Eminent Teacher Award in (2023), Global Eminence Award for Inspiring Contribution in Hospitality Education (2025) by IMRF, India.
