Karim Makhlouf serves as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Royal Jordanian Airlines, where he leads the airline’s strategic growth and modernization initiatives.

With over 25 years of experience in the aviation industry, Makhlouf is spearheading a five-year growth plan to nearly double the fleet and introduce new routes, including direct flights to Washington D.C., Mumbai, and New Delhi. He is also driving sustainability initiatives, aiming to reduce carbon emissions by over 32% through fleet upgrades.

Makhlouf’s leadership is central to positioning Amman as a key regional hub and promoting Jordan as a boutique tourism destination under the ExploRJordan brand.
