Maia Omiadze is Head of Georgian National Tourism Administration (Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia)

Ms.Maia Omiadze assumed the role of Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration in December 2022. She brings more than 15 years of professional experience in strategic communication, marketing, media, and advertising, acquired across both the public and private sectors.

Since 2010, Ms. Omiadze has played an active role in the development and implementation of l marketing campaigns and sectoral development strategies, working closely with local and international partners and institutions. Her career includes senior managerial positions within several key governmental bodies, among them the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, and the Ministry of Labour, Health, and Social Affairs.

Throughout her career, she has demonstrated strong leadership in policy communication, brand positioning, and strategic planning, contributing to the effective promotion of Georgia on international markets and the strengthening of institutional cooperation.
