Rose Mukogo is a qualified economist with experience in both public and private sectors in the area of natural resource management, at both the strategic and operational levels. In the past she worked as the Director of Research of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority and also served as a Board member of the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZIMPARKS) where she led the Commercial Services Committee of the Board and was the Chairperson for the Rhodes Nyanga National Parks Management Committee. Further, she has served as the first woman Chairperson of the Forestry Commission Board of Zimbabwe. Through these experiences her area of expertise is natural resources management and their sustainable utilisation through tourism at both the national and regional levels.
