Prof. Purwo Santoso is a professor specializing in governance and policy-making at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

He earned his Ph.D. at the Department of Government, the London School of Political Science, where his thesis focused on the politics of environmental policy-making in Indonesia.

His expertise in international development has also led him to gain a deep understanding of the tourism sector.
