Ms. Suvimol Thanasarakij is The Executive Director at the Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO).

She is the first female and the first GMS national to head up the organization in its 16-year history. Dee is a tourism and international cooperation expert with 23 years of experience delivering high-level multilateral programmes and events for international institutions; such as, ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations). She also had experiences in implementing multilateral programmes on behalf of the U.S. government across Southeast Asia. She spent more than eight years managing tourism marketing projects for ASEAN, and also worked for the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Shangri-La Bangkok, and Centara Hotels & Resorts.
