As a part of life work, we are developing an ONPAKU, a revitalization program for local communities. “ONPAKU” started in Beppu. This is an internal development method that can efficiently discover and utilize local resources and develop human resources. 私は別府市内で日本旅館を経営しています。
ライフワークとして地域コミュニティの活性化プログラム「ONPAKU」を展開しています。「ONPAKU」は別府でスタートしました。地域資源の発見・活用、人材の育成を効率的に行える内発的開発の手法です。「ONPAKU」のプログラムは、日本政府・JICAなどの支援を受けて国内外100を超える地域に展開されています。海外では、タイ、ネパール、グアテマラ、エルサルバドルなどで展開されています。
2019年まで8年間別府市の市議会議員でした。
