Ms. Nur Alyssa is the Director of the Research and Training Division at the Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC). She joined ITC as an Executive Officer in 2009 and was promoted to a management position in 2011 in the same division. Prior to joining ITC, she worked in several organisations and held various roles, from managing and coordinating events and membership to sales and marketing in the event management and IT industry.

While at ITC, she has been involved in managing and coordinating various projects especially in relation to training and research on Islamic and Muslim Friendly Tourism and Hospitality. She is also responsible for developing several new programmes and initiatives, such as S.E.E.D. (share, enrich, enhance, and develop) seminars, youth programmes, and corporate forums that focus on various current topics. Her involvement in projects with several external international organisations such as the OIC, ASEAN and APEC have helped strengthen her ability and thinking in carrying out tasks in line with the requirements of ITC’s role as a leader in the Islamic Tourism and Muslim Friendly Hospitality segment. She has also been appointed as a member of the Board of Studies of several institutions of higher learning.

She graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA with a BBA (Hons.) in International Business. She loves reading and exploring new places and cultures.
