Mona Naffa, an American Arab born and raised in the USA, now resides in Jordan. She left a career in pharmaceuticals to join Jordan’s hotel and tourism sector, introducing Expedia and TripAdvisor to the country and creating the Taking Jordan by Storm Tour. After more than a decade with Expedia, she co-founded FITE (First Institute for Training and Education) to empower youth through training, education, and international exchange. Passionate about travel as a form of education, she builds bridges through storytelling, social enterprise, and cultural experiences. The daughter of Miss Jordan 1960 and a Middle Eastern history professor, Mona blends Western education with deep Eastern values.
