Who is Dr. Wan Mohd Adzim Wan Mohd Zain?
Dr. Wan Mohd Adzim Wan Mohd Zain is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UnisZA), Malaysia. He Joined the University in 2014 as an Assistant Lecturer and he is currently a Coordinator at the Centre for Management of Academic Excellence and Innovation, UniSZA.
His qualifications include a BSc (Hons.) in Culinary Arts Management and MS in Gastronomy from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia. He was awarded a PhD in Management Studies in 2019 by the University of Exeter Business School, United Kingdom for his research on Perspectives on Regional Food Tourism Development: The Case of Food Producers and Tourists in East Coast Malaysia (ECM). Dr. Wan Mohd Adzim has expanded his deep interest of tourism research in the areas of food tourism, food production, tourist consumption, tourism and destination development. Some of the consultancy projects in which Dr Wan Mohd Adzim has been involved demonstrate impact on tourism development.
His work as part of project team with a number of external bodies in establishing new academic tourism program and also consultancy service for community development (tourism cluster) for State Legislative Assembly of Kemasik, Terengganu. He is also one of the keynote speakers for International Webinar Indonesia-Malaysia 2020, sharing his inputs related to Event Management in the Pandemic era.
