Registration Deadline: May 31, 2025

No matter if the paper is single-authored or multi-authored, if you would like to have the paper published in the proceedings, you need to pay the registration fee for each paper. In case the paper is multi-authored and more than one author would like to participate in the conference, each participant needs to make registration and pay the registration fee separately. Unpaid manuscripts will be treated as withdrawn.

Cancellation Policy for the Conference: If we receive your written cancellation before May 1, 2025, the balance of the registration fee will be refunded after deducting an administrative fee of €100. There will be no refund for cancellations received after May 1, 2025.

Registration and Payment

Register for the conference and pay the applicable fees. Upon successful registration, you can submit the abstract/full paper in the prescribed format and within the stipulated time for successful acceptance by the scientific committee. Please keep a note of the important dates to avoid late registration/submission.

Instructions for Authors

Submission Guidelines

Please follow these guidelines to ensure your paper is reviewed. Documents that are not prepared according to these formatting instructions will NOT be reviewed.

Abstract

Authors are invited to submit abstracts related to the conference themes. The abstract should be written in English (in MS Word format only) and structured as follows:

  • Title: Should be short, less than 15 words.
  • Author(s): Include full contact details, organization, and email.
  • Keywords: Provide up to 5 keywords.
  • Background: Short summary of the problem addressed.
  • Objectives: Define measurable objectives of the work.
  • Methodology: Brief description of the methodology used.
  • Results: Provide a short summary of the results.

The abstract format should adhere to A4 size with 2.5-cm top margin, 3-cm bottom margin, and 1.5-cm side margins. Single-spaced, 10pt Times New Roman, with 100-250 words in length.

Full Paper

Full papers should represent original research and must follow these formatting guidelines:

  • Languages: English only.
  • Length: Between 8 and 15 pages (2,800 – 5,250 words).
  • Format: A4 size, two-column layout, with 2.5-cm top margin, 3-cm bottom margin, and 1.5-cm side margins. Single-spaced, 10pt Times New Roman font.
  • Tables & Figures: Should be embedded in text, presented in black and white.
  • References: Follow APA 7th style.

Oral Presentations

Presenters will have 15 minutes to present their papers, followed by 5 minutes for questions. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in with the session chair.

  • Speak slowly and clearly; do not read directly from slides.
  • Engage the audience by making eye contact and asking questions.
  • Relax and enjoy the experience!

If you are unable to attend, please find someone to present your paper on your behalf. Notify Yanki Hartijasti if you need to withdraw.

The Best Paper Award is given to the author of the paper which has the highest quality among all competitive papers presented at the conference.

Only full papers presented at the conference, as well as selected papers that follow the guidelines, will have the opportunity to be published in the following journals:

The aim of the Euro-Asia Tourism Studies Journal is to provide a platform to promote junior European and Asian researchers. It is an Open Access Journal, whose key purpose is to encourage Early Career Researchers (ECR), Ph.D., and Masters Candidates to publish their research outcomes. It also provides an opportunity for ECRs to manage the editorial board, supported and mentored by our member advisory senior academics. We encourage all aspiring authors to submit their research work for consideration. Our capable editorial board will provide help and support to ease any publication challenges. In this way, our commitment is to assist a new generation of European and Asian tourism researchers to realize their publication potential.
